A Wizard of Oz Halloween

Liv somehow roped the family to be the entire cast of Wizard of Oz for Halloween, the girl is persuasive! haha She is currently completely obsessed with the movie, the Wizard of Oz, she watches it every.single.day. Yes, my 3- year old loves the 1939 musical, Wizard of Oz- that’s the one. I actually loved it as a child as well and am known to be an “old soul”, I guess she takes after me in that respect. But I’m glad she is persuasive because it ended up being so much fun to all get dressed up, even though the only place we were going to go was around the cul-de-sac asking for candy lol.

Liv’s reaction to the Wicked Witch wasn’t the best though (she started to hysterically cry), it’s so funny to see kid’s reactions to characters in person rather than just on TV. Don’t worry she warmed up and came around to the idea that it really was just Grandma under the makeup and fake nose. We ended up staying in for most of the day with just our immediate family coming over, playing games and chatting. Then we went Trick or Treating and negotiated with the master negotiator for the remaining houses she would visit (she must get that from her Dad lol). All in all it made for a great and memorable holiday!
